Health Plan Options to Meet Your Needs
HMSA’s 65C Plus offers three health plan options so you can spend more time
enjoying the things you love and less time worrying about your health care.
- Saver Option - Essential health care
coverage with the 65C Plus provider network.
- Basic Option - Added coverage for Medicare-covered
services received in Hawaii.
- High Option - Comprehensive coverage that
includes additional inpatient hospital days and worldwide coverage for emergencies
and urgent services.

- Post-hospital skilled nursing facility services.

Current 65C Plus members with questions about their plan may contact
Customer Service from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Friday.
65C Plus has a contract with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS),
the government agency that runs the Medicare program. This contract renews each
year. At the end of each year, the contract is reviewed, and either 65C Plus or
CMS can decide to end it. It is possible for our contract to end at some other time
during the year, too. If the contract should end, HMSA will provide advance notice
to all 65C Plus members.
