Senior Connection is a Medicare supplement plan that provides coverage for services
that Medicare does not cover. And with Senior Connection, you can visit any Medicare
participating physician of your choice.
Medicare helps you cover your health care costs. However, your share of the co-insurance
and/or deductible can be a financial burden. Senior Connection supplements your
Medicare coverage. That way, you'll get comprehensive medical care and peace of
mind from knowing you have financial protection.
Depending on the option you have, benefits may include coverage for hospital deductibles,
deductibles associated with an illness or injury, skilled nursing co-insurance,
foreign travel emergency coverage, and some blood costs.
This plan is not available for new enrollment. Current members may continue their
coverage under Senior Connection. Your plan coverage is renewable annually unless:
- You fail to pay your dues, or
- You materially misrepresent information to HMSA.
If at any time you fail to meet either of these requirements, your Senior Connection
coverage will end automatically. Even though your Senior Connection coverage ends,
your Medicare coverage does not automatically end.
